ANG8483 Title: Anger and Anger Management: A Detailed Introduction for Mental Health Clinicians Description: This seven hour course will introduce trainees to the neurobiology of brain functioning in emotions, provide tools for the assessment of a client’s anger, introduce various treatment modalities from cognitive-behavioral to medication management, and provide a number of skills to help clients deal with anger constructively. This beginning-intermediate level course is primarily designed for clinicians in the early to intermediate stages of their career, or for clinicians seeking a detailed review of the basic concepts in this area.
